Membership Qualifications

GABC does not solicit membership. Please contact the membership chairman (link above) for questions regarding membership.

Applications for membership are available in the link below and on the back table of the church. The application may be submitted to the membership chairman or any church deacon.

Membership Application

Receiving Members

Any person desiring to become a member of this church who makes such request of the director or a deacon, and who meets the qualifications, upon approval of the deacons, will be received as a member into the fellowship of this church.

Membership Status

Periodic review of the membership roll with a view towards changing the status of individual members from "active" to "inactive" occurs on a biannual basis or recommendation by the pastor to the board of deacons for approval. A member who is on the inactive list shall not be eligible to vote or hold office. A member may be removed and reinstated to the membership roll by action of the pastor or board of deacons. An individual may be changed from "inactive" to "active" by the same process.

Associate Membership

Persons residing outside of Atlanta metroplex may be admitted as associate members but shall not be eligible to vote or hold office. Those associate members who live close enough to be in regular church attendance may exercise voting privileges.
