Mission Possible The Scriptures state: For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have just made the most important decision one can make in life, to believe in Jesus Christ as personal Savior, you now have eternal life. It was as simple as repeating the following prayer: Heavenly Father, I am choosing to believe in your Son, Jesus Christ, as my personal Savior. I am trusting in Him for eternal life because He went to the cross and died as a substiute for me, thank you Father, for the gift of eternal life! At the moment you prayed this prayer, God accomplished over 40 works of grace for you instantaneously and simultaneously. These Divine Works of Grace have now equipped you to execute a unique mission. A mission that can only be accomplished through God's grace provision. Every mission in life must begin with a mission statement and as a believer in Jesus Christ, it is crucial that you grow spiritually through the intake of God's word on a consistent basis. In effect, your new mission, should you choose to accept it, is to keep on growing in the grace and full knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). That is why the Bible classes available to you on this site are free of charge. In fact, the church operates on the same grace principle because an offering plate is never passed.
